Last Letter to My Son.
Last Letter to My Son.
It’s time for this
And you understand me please.
Son when thou’ are gone away from home
And wander through alone
Remember this-‘ home sweet home’.
When thou’ are amongst many faces
In many a different places
Forget not the words I spoke
And the works I taught.
When a feeling of ‘too far gone’ haunts
And everything seems to come to halt.
Fret not, but in silence hear your heart.
Take a breather-break and fall on the path.
Off the path and meet the death end.
Let all things on the path happen,
That you may know, you’re not alone.
Cos the path is stretching long.
Know no giving up
For the beauty is in getting up.
Long though they keep you kneeled- patience!
Patience is the sweetest vengeance.
And one day you’ll have all reasons to smile,
Piled up in your mind will be, bed-time stories for your child.
Love will come with time, around
Remember, the wealthiest though, he could least buy true love
‘Cos true love’s price tag is in pure love.
Pay for it in full and leave never half-paid
And make not until tomorrow wait.
Seek for it like a precious stone
And when found, treasure it like to heaven it belong.
And this you know there is pain in loving
But it will turn sweeter as the difference-of-hearts starts melting.
And you understand me please.

When you’re done with the race and go wrinkled
Write if you may. But ‘least though you speak to kindle
Young hearts. For mentors they will seek for
And wisdom they will need more.
So live, eat, work, rest, sing, cry, laugh and what you may
But in all, may you grow stronger, I pray.
And when you’ve learned all of these, I will be gone
And the journey will stretch, yet feel not alone
But read this and you will know I wished you well
And lead a life worthy of a real man.
