Solitary walk in the quite wood

Solitary walk in the quite wood
Away, away far away
In a place from where
I was
Too quite- a place
this is all ways
Rather lonely a times
when in the woods I passed
Still, still O’ wood
Not to interrupt you
meditating.
The least a noise will
make my foot
Thou’ over the
dead-leaves it go strolling.
No wish, no greet I
ask.
A company may be
Yet, gently will I
pass
When even thy closest
comrade don’t, how can me?
No worse it is to be
in isolation
Than to shatter a
deep meditation.
